Non Geographic Numbers
Overview
These fall into the categories described below and they all work in essentially the same manner. A non-geographic number diverts to your existing BT or Cable land line and the call I either paid by the person receiving the call (Freephone - 0800, 0808), or the person making the call (0845, Premium number etc…).
A Freephone number is a great way to tell your customer that they come first.
0800 numbers are a great marketing tool, encouraging people to call you as they know there is no cost for their enquiry.
An 0845 number allows all your customers to call you at a local rate (however if a customer calls you from outside the immediate local exchange area, e.g. Scotland to London), the cost difference needs to be covered. Studies have shown that 0800, 0845 & 0844 numbers make a significant difference to the level of response from advertisements.
Until recently this service has been expensive with service providers charging huge set-up costs and monthly line rental, as well as large per minute call charges. Systemcare however provides these facilities at a significantly lower cost - sometimes free.
International Freephone and Non Geographic Numbers
We can also offer International Freephone numbers as well as International Non Geographic numbers, for most developed countries.
Calls are directed to the UK number of your choice just as with a UK freephone service. Your caller will be unaware that you are not in the country they are calling.
This enables call centres or sales teams to be located in the UK (or elsewhere) although targeting marketing campaigns at foreign territories*.
*Prices differ depending on destination.
